The best reward is being told how happy a client is with the work we have done for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having been self employed most of my life I was looking for a new challenge and found Promax. With my building background restoring an old roof back to its former glory really appealed. Later we started reroofing and the long run spouting.

Promax covers all the main options when it comes to roofing, so unlike some companies which do only restorations or reroofs we can offer the best unbiased solution or more than one option to our clients. We will always state the reasons for our recommendations so our clients can evaluate what we say and make the best financial and aesthetic decision for themselves.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We follow the Ministry of Health's recommendations as they change through the different levels.
Restoring Tired Roofs
Reroofing is something we don't do if the roof can be saved so our clients don't spend unnecessary money. We prefer saving old roofs with our proven system using the most
technologically advanced products available.
Our system for cleaning, fungal treatment and coating uses only environmentally safe products. The fungal treatment is citrus based and the coatings are a water based hard wearing elastomeric high-performance polymer which is resistant to yellowing and age crazing. They also have UV absorbers which assist in surface protection from the effects of sunlight. This service comes with a Genuine Promax 15 year warranty.
Reroofing
Reroofing buildings where the roof is beyond saving.
Our experienced roofers use New Zealand manufactured Colorsteel and can replace almost any roof including concrete, clay and pressed metal tiles, and corrugated iron. There are 2 profiles available in the full range of Colorsteel colours. These roofs come with the standard Colorsteel warranty and colour range.
Continuous Spouting
Supplying and installing longrun/continuous spouting.
We bring our spouting roll forming machine on site and roll out the new spouting in the lengths required. This means there are joins only on external and internal corners. We roll the spouting from Colorsteel coils which has the standard Colorsteel warranty and colour range.
Metal Fascia
Metal Fascia supply and install for new builds. This usually has our spouting installed as well.
We can also retro fit metal fascia to existing fascia boards. This is generally installed over wooden fascia which is too weather damaged to paint and also to give a modern look.
Available in the full range of Colorsteel colours and has the standard Colorsteel warranty.
Flat Roof, Deck and Gutter Sealing
We can seal flat roofs and difficult to replace internal gutters with our waterproofing membrane. This membrane is also ideal for sealing decks and can have a non-slip surface if required. This amazing product is environmentally friendly, solvent free, isocyanate free, VOC free and provides a durable, highly flexible, tough seamless membrane which usually requires no priming. This product comes with 10 and 20 year warranty options.
