What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Mainly financial consulting services, nothing is too big or too small.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A good accountant is not only good at saving you money, keeping you out of trouble with the IRD, but should also be able to give you financial information to help with making key decisions, tell a story about your business based on your financials and help maximise your profit.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting business owners who are passionate about their businesses. I have always considered it a privilege to be an accountant because you are privvy to some of the best and worst stories, and your clients actually trust your with their issues and stories!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was once part of a corporate that went on an acquisition spree to purchase 5 companies within the space of around 18 months, these business owners would have done some much better out of the deals if they knew the financials of their company and the nature of the offer.
It is imperative that SME business owners have someone who can update them on a monthly basis what is happening in their business, what their financials means and the processes their companies have adopted ie a trusted advisor. I want to be that trusted advisor to ensure business owners knows what is happening in their business.

It depends on the size of the job. My preference is to meet my client at lease once, but if is just a small job, a one hour chat. Doing it through teams is fine
