What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding that images are a language and how to speak that language. Put simply, a great photograph is one where all the elements come together to effectively convey a story, message, feeling or impression.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For a commercial client it always come back to what is the purpose? The project brief will have been created with particular objectives in mind, success is more likely if the photographer/videographer has a good understanding of just what that is.
What do you love most about your job?
There are so many things. But if I had to pick one it might be that even though in today's world we see images at every turn, the image made with thought, skill and attention to detail still stand out from the crowd.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To be master of my own destiny. The ability to be flexible and responsive to the ever changing environment.

Pet Portraiture
Animals are a big part of our lives and pet portraiture is a natural fit for my skills. There are a number of locations around Tauranga that provide excellent outdoor settings, or alternatively some animals are most relaxed in their own home territory. Animals are often challenging to work with but always fun.

Creating images that effectively illustrate your business. These can be photojournalist in style or more carefully staged. In situ portraits and business portraits or head-shots.

A must for anyone in business. The simplicity belies the skill it takes to make sure everyone looks their best. I come to your premises with studio lighting to capture as few or many portraits as needed.
