I would like to say how overwhelmed I was that my nomination for my very elderly parents was chosen for your generous cruise. When you posted the video clip and your lovely idea I could immediately tell what a lovely family business this is. I was especially astounded how you commented with such heart and sincerity about every nomination put forward. This went above and beyond anything I have seen before. Sadly I had to decline the generous offer as my darling Dad, who turns 90 this month, had a fall the other day. I really feel they wouldn't be able to cope on the boat and I know there are many other very deserving nominations out there. I had a heartwarming conversation on the phone with the owner's daughter and this reinforced what a beautiful and generous family these people are. I implore EVERYONE who entered this "pay it forward" competition to make sure they go on this boat one day and tell their friends about it. It is very rare that such offers like this on public forums turn out to truly be so genuine. It is so tough for people who have lost so much business and people like this who have thought about others first really deserve recognition. I wish you all the best. Much love nicki More...
