I am a fully registered teacher, and have taught or tutored since 2010. I have a Masters degree and postgraduate qualifications in Medical Physics, so I enjoy focusing on tutoring maths and physics.
I work online using document cameras so we can see what each other write to aid communication, adjusting every session to suit what you need to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to work at the students pace, speeding up, or slowing down to match what each individual needs. This helps students feel comfortable, and happy, which is the optimal mindset for productive learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love the autonomy of having my own business, so that I can work the hours that suit my other commitments and family.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a great track record - regularly fully booked, students and their siblings come back to me on subsequent years, and I get great feedback from students and their parents as we develop a positive relationship. Interestingly other areas of schooling also tend to improve as we also can address broader study skills and attitudes.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, tutoring is done online using zoom. Before sessions start, we get you organised so that we can switch between seeing faces, and what we both write.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Working online works really well, as even if people are off school isolating, tutoring sessions can still go ahead. These can also be arranged for during the day if needed, to keep you up to pace with work missed at school.
