Terrible experience. They demanded we get our home professionally cleaned before tenants moved in and so we did. Three years later when we recently moved back in everything was dirty and the toilets were not cleaned as well as there has been damage to our property joinery (looks like a flood or recurring moisture) as well as tenants killed our lawns completely and one of the doors does not shut properly anymore! They also demanded that fire alarms were installed and we did that when we left upon return, they are missing and they claim absolutely no responsibility. The woman that was looking after our property while we were away in Sweden was kind but she left on maternity leave unfortunately and the managers at Comprende upon our return that took over were not friendly on the phone or via email and said they would come to look at our home and the issues we had upon being gone from our property for three years in the end, they never came by. I found this very disrespectful. Comprende said the grass must have died of natural causes and all the dirt and grime and unclean toilets are considered, "reasonably clean". They had the audacity to say the water ban is why the lawns are dead. ( Interesting as every other lawn on our street is still alive! ) Grass generally is quite hard to kill and dies because it has not been watered for a long period of time. A few items are missing and they are claiming the items never existed. They did not take photos and so legally they do not and we didn't think to record everything as we trusted them. I am very disappointed by the lack of care and professionalism that they have shown us. We also had carpets installed and I sent an email clearly describing what color carpet to install and they got that wrong too. They were rude and took no responsibility whatsoever. We strongly disagree with the integrity and professionalism of Comprende and will not be using their services ever again. More...

Finding a rental is very very tough especially if you are a group of young adults. We unfortunately haven't been successful with applicants, so we called Comprendé and asked for some advice as well as asking if there's anything we could improve in our applications. The lovely woman I talked to today gave some good advice and explained to us what we needed to know about our applications. Really helpful and welcoming, even took the time out of their day to send us through some reccomended properties through email and wished us well. The viewing we had with Adam from Comprendé was lovely, he was welcoming and very informative. He was well presented and while showing the house he was very respecting of the current tenants space. We hope to have a good property manager some day like the team at Comprendé and reccomend them to anyone who needs advice for finding a rental property.
