Chim Thai Restaurant

I just got one of the worst service experiences. Ordered $180 worth of Chim Thai food cos we love it. Got it delivered because we had a few wines. Got it delivered, it was only the rice and wontons. Got told by the delivery people we had to call them. Tried calling 5 times and was hung up on. My friend said they know who’s calling and they aren’t answering and I thought she was being paranoid. My friend called from another number and got answered straight away. No apology, told I had to come pick up the rest. I repeated we got delivery as we aren’t safe to drive, that kept being their solution. So they wanted us to drink and drive?? Wouldn’t refund me, kept telling me to come and get it. Heard them ask someone else, should I just hang up? Talked to someone else, wouldn’t fully refund, kept telling me to come and get the food. Kept explaining that’s not safe. Eventually their solution was I have to come in tomorrow for a refund, had no idea what was delivered or not. So gutted as they deliberately hung up on me so they didn’t have to sort it. And then thought the solution was to hang up on me again. Never showed any remorse. Never apologised. Will never go again. ~ Patricia Ludwig More...

great food I oder nice yummy for my tummy. Will go again. need more heating in the dine in area as I come from Auckland... Hamilton is cold
