We made an order via phone call 2x Palabok and 1x chicken noodle soup for takeaway. We were advised that it would be ready in 15-20mins. We drove to the restaurant (approx 20mins driving time) but upon arriving we had to wait another 25mins for our food. I guess they should better give a more realistic food prep time to their customers. The palabok was really good though and feels like an authentic filipino palabok. Will order this again. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
To create a menu for clients we need to know the following:
Kind of catering service: CANAPES, DEGUSTATION, PLATED, BUFFET, WALK N FORK, KIDS PARTY, FINGER FOOD AND POTLUCK STYLE
Budget is very important to cater an event. By giving them figures we need to know details of their upcoming event, then we can give them estimated price.
What do you love most about your job?
Our job offers a wide variety of opportunities. This brings varied work and challenging projects. But a strong and cohesive team makes it possible to tackle each challenge. We are very curious people and like to understand how things work or how come things are the way they are.
What inspired you to start your own business?
From our experienced back in the Philippines. Knocking door to door selling food. Working at 5 stars hotel as a waiter for more than 10 years. Cooking to sell outside our door breakfast, lunch and dinner to make a living. Made-to-order boxes of sweet delicacies for company giveaways.
