Recently ordered a cake for a friends birthday. The online team were so easy to deal with and was really helpful to have the information about cakes readily available on their website. When picking up in store, the service was so friendly and very helpful with making sure we could transport the cake. The quantity of cake for the price was very reasonable and we found it served more than mentioned. We ordered a roasted berry and dark chocolate cake and everyone raved about the icing! Thank you Baked With Love for your kindness and consideration. Contactless pickup was smooth, friendly and KIND. I rang in and asked if I could place an order and I was just outside in my car. Not a problem - made the order, paid on the phone with my credit card. They then rang back and informed me they were ready. Spent last weekend in Taupo. Cannot understand why we have not found Baked with Love in all the years we have been to Taupo. We loved the food so much we visited both Saturday and Sunday. The girls in front of house do an excellent job - felt comfortable and attended to personally despite the queue of customers looking for seats or taking away. Back of house produces elegant taste experiences with a twist on traditional dishes. Flavours and aromas were to die for. We didn't dare try the cakes and slices that were so beautifully dressed and presented. Can't stop raving to friends about how good our experience was at Baked With Love. Absolutely incredible from start to finish! Ordered 2 cheese cakes for mums birthday and a 2-tier cake for grandads 90th birthday in the same week. I ordered from Christchurch, yet everything was as easy as if I was a local. Service superb (Kim and ladies), presentation immaculate, taste was devine, and communications perfect. They were even happy to wait to see about alert levels and the event being able to proceed as planned before needing payment. Very very grateful! Love love loved our wedding cake!! Kim was wonderful to deal with, even though we planned everything from Australia. A little hiccup with our date, which we had changed 4 times so it was totally understandable but Kim was super amazing about it. Highly recommend 🖤🖤

So disappointed. Hubby took me in for Saturday afternoon coffee and cake. $25. For 2 people. Cake OK. Barista decided to chat to her friend although our docket was there and waitress told her we were waiting. Finished cake coffee came. OK. But then she stuffed up next order and offered us 2 more.
