What inspired you to start your own business?
I love variety, and consulting gives me that in spades. I see a huge need for HR support for NZ SMEs who cannot justify a permanent internal resource, or just need someone to call for advice and support. I love making the complex simple for my clients, and helping bear the weight of their employment challenges and opportunities.

Much of the work I do can be done online. However, I frequently travel nationwide to assist clients with their employment challenges.
Change Management
Restructuring, up-sizing, down-sizing, new operating models, tweaks to current structures.
Engaging with stakeholders, proposing and refining structure, implementing change.
Employment Relations
We provide support on all aspects of employment relations matter, from managing employment investigations and personal grievances, to addressing performance issues or misconduct. We have broad experience in working with employee unions and advocates, and mediating pragmatic outcomes for all parties.
HR Tools and Templates
We provide all manner of employment-related tools and templates. Policies, employment documents, and related tools created, reviewed, or updated in accordance with current law and practice in New Zealand.
Employment Bargaining
We have extensive Industrial Relations experience, including dealing with unions, negotiating and renewing collective agreements, and managing industrial action response and mitigation. We provide advocacy for employer parties at the bargaining table that produce business-focussed results.
