Been renting through them for 3 years. Ongoing issues from the beginning as they seem to ignore their legal responsibilities as acting landlords. Didn't lodge my bond on time, didnt get property up to standard as promised. Do illegal (not qualified) and inadequate 'repairs' when they bother to do it at all. Yet still do 3 monthly inspections but refuse to take a list of jobs at this inspection, I must use an app (what's the point in such frequent inspections if they don't even look at the maintenance issues??). Healthy homes assessment full of lies. Currently waiting two weeks for a window repair on child's street facing window on a busy street to even be BOOKED. Waiting 3 years for my power to be charged legally (you can't justwrite a pdf with dates and a random sum on it and call that a legal power bill, particularly because my neighbour is on the same supply). They're renting out an unconsented renovated garage as a separate lease on this property. Leading to issues with services being difficult to obtain separately like power and internet yet still trying to illegally (as advised by tenancy tribunal) charge me. I find it difficult to believe the glowing reviews of this company are all genuine.I was asked by an elderly woman to sit in on a meeting with a Wolfbrook rep who was trying to negotiate the purchase of her property to make way for their development. After previous meetings had become toxic, she felt scared to be alone with them. She liked her old family home and wanted to stay. Hers was the only house they had left to acquire in the block they needed, and they weren’t taking no for an answer. He was quite brazen, saying that if she didn’t sell to them, they’d build 3 stories all around her and she’d lose her sun, privacy, and her house value would plummet.Appalling behaviour to bully and intimidate an elderly woman into giving up her home. Positive Update: Since a change (again) in Landlords I have noticed a great improvement in the company, The person I am dealing with is professional, if anything needs to be repaired it's dealt to immediately, on inspections they now always ask if any problems in house, communication has improved, and they have installed drainage to stop the flooding, I've had same person 3 inspections in a row and now I feel different towards the company. Only issue now is previous rental spikes but hopefully that's stabilized.Recommend to deal with Amanda. Not sure on the rest of staff but Amanda is great if you buying or renting.At no point I was told to update/edit my review, it's just pure change of opinionPrior 1 star, now 4/5 worthBut keeping as 1 star just so the bad reputation which may have been recognized has now significantly improved and is no longer 1 star!Previous update.I would not recommend Wolfbrook as an agent to flat under, nor as a homeowner. Lacks responsibility, lacks professionalism, extremely high turnover. The house floods several times due to lack of repairs. Landlord changes every couple of months so nothing gets resolved. They increased the rent 18%/$45 which is an insane hike despite my email of list with problems in the house that need to be remedied, which they didn't even reply too. Eventually the house will rot and mould, but they don't care. If I was a home owner I'd like my house maintened from water-damage, and as a longterm tenant that's been around longer than any of their staff, increasing the rent should only be In $5/$10 or $15 maximum increments. There are a list of problems in the house which make it unrentable. I haven't even met the last 2 or 3 landlords as turnover is that high. Worst rental agency I've ever come across. More...
