What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first contact with any client is to get to understand their business and needs. Every business is unique, therefore all of my designs are unique to that business.
Describe your creative process.
I let my creativity run free before coming up with the design that I am happy with that stands out and best reflects the business and brief. This draft design is sent to / discussed with the customer for review. At this point any necessary design tweaks are made before proceeding with the project. The client must be happy - if not, I'll keep designing until the perfect design is discovered. :)
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Understanding of business background, what they want to achieve from their logo/branding/website/graphic design.
Access to any existing logos, colours, fonts, website and content.
For new websites, I send the client a big list of questions, so that I have the content I need to create the website and know that what I am creating will suit their business purpose and attract their ideal customer.
What do you love most about your job?
Working with small businesses to give them a professional image that they are proud to show off to their customers. It's great to meet people from a variety of industries.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having the freedom to work from my home and work directly with my customers - no big agency procedures or middle-men.

I follow Government directed orders at all stages and have a QR code at my home office for scanning on the Covid Tracer App.
