Hello. If you are looking for a first class entertainer, look no further than Mandy Miller. She provided music for my birthday over the weekend and she was amazing. She has the ability to read the crowd, provide background while people are connecting and chatting, and then really rev it up for when it is time to get onto the dance floor. She gave us all the songs that we remembered and lots more that we really enjoyed. She was committed to providing what we enjoyed and made it a night to remember. Fantastic, Fun, Engaging and Played to the Crowd: just a few words that come to mind after Mandi and Mark as ‘X-Files’ played for our wedding at Cossars Wineshed, Tai Tapu.

It’s not easy finding a band and picking music for an event such as your wedding when you haven’t heard them play. We looked/listened on their website and got the feeling they’d be a good fit after great communication from Mandi ahead of booking. Let us assure you Mandi is perfect for any event - her passion for music shows through her performance. Both her and Mark have a really neat energy that our guests loved! Their huge range of music and songs across the genres meant their play list had everyone, and I mean everyone, up on the dance floor!!

Mandi made everything so easy right from our first point of contact to the night itself. They were so subtle in their set-up no one noticed and then they came alive and absolutely rocked the night away! Thank you so very much for playing at our wedding, playing some of our absolutely favourite songs and reading the room to play music our guests related to. You guys made our special night even more fantastic and are huge part of our happy memories.

We would absolutely book X-Files again for any event (Party or Conference) and can’t recommend them highly enough to anyone who is looking for a band that everyone of all ages will enjoy.

We had Mandi Miller / X-Files duo at our wedding recently and what a performance!! Communication leading up to the event was outstanding and she even ran our ceremony music for us which was great.
