Yes, we bring all of our own specialized equipment and cleaning products to every job. Our team uses professional-grade, certified tools and chemicals designed specifically for forensic and biohazard remediation, including PPE, decontamination systems, disinfectants, and foggers. You don’t need to supply anything, we arrive fully equipped and ready to restore the site safely and thoroughly.

What I love most about my job is helping people on some of their worst days. No two jobs are ever the same, one moment it’s a trauma scene, the next it’s a hoarding clean-up or unattended death. It’s tough work, but it’s real, and it matters. Being able to walk away knowing we’ve made a difference for someone who’s struggling and that’s what keeps us doing what we do.

Capital City Crime Scene began in 2021, built from the ground up with the belief that there had to be a better way to handle what’s left behind when tragedy strikes.

After more than a decade working with some of the leading international forensic cleaning companies and personally training others in the industry, Rob saw a critical gap in how trauma scenes were being treated, not just physically, but emotionally. Families were being left to clean up the worst moments of their lives. People were walking back into spaces they should never have had to face again.

So we did something about it.

With a single vehicle, a head full of knowledge, and a heart set on changing the standard, Capital City Crime Scene was launched in Wellington. What started small quickly grew because when you do the work with care, honesty, and skill, word travels fast.
