I had an incredible experience having a shoot with Monica to get professional photos for marketing my business. I connected with Monica through Instagram. Not only does she capture the magical moments through the lens but also does she capture the real you inside. The story of her becoming a life coach after meeting so many women lost their confidence and self-worth resonated with me. So as part of my personal development journey, I chose Monica to assist me. Monica really is one seriously special and talented photographer who sure does know her stuff. After I became a mother and a small business owner all in the same year, I asked Monica to take some images of me to showcase a very special time in my life. Today I had a 1:1 Photography Lesson with Monica and it was brilliant. I love how the session was tailored to my needs and surroundings. It was a great session with a mix of learning, play and practising what I learnt. Monica got me thinking about how I take photos and what message I am trying to convey. I love how I have so much in my own surroundings to play and use for future images, from the concrete tiles outside to the texture from our dining table bench seat. I learnt how to edit those images on my phone. It was great to have Monica there by my side as I asked questions and played. This session was an investment that will pay dividends in the future, and I would highly recommend this if you want to start taking your own images and stop relying on using social media filters to make your photos look better.
