I am a professional driver- 55 years old with 10 years of driving, pickup, and airport transfers. VIPHOSTNZ Limited was originally an exclusive Tour company for Australia, Singapore, Hongkong, and southeast Asia. Since Covid, we have shut down all international Processing. After 2 years of covid the two directors Leonard Hill and Mark Ruka have decided to start driving again for airport and exclusive cliental driving. Our car is CX-9 Mazda that is suited for family transfers to the airport and a spacious 11 seater van with a capacity for 18 suitcases.

What do you love most about your job?

I am a solo dad who has 2 boys. After covid, the business was turned upside down and we stopped driving altogether. Bark works for me as a driver who provides a professional service to connect directly to clients. I am not impressed with Uber and despise poor service. I drive part-time and am a reliable, professional person with over seven years of direct experience in airport transfers.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have always only worked for myself. Building a tour company in New Zealand after returning from 25 years in Singapore seemed a good idea. Then Covid happened.

Why should our clients choose you?

Honest, caring, professional. At my age [ 55 ], it's a nice way to meet people. I grew a great cliental base because my business specialized in child transport. Because I am a dad I could relate and provide a better experience went taking families and children to the airport.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Viphostnz is on Facebook and youtube. Facebook offers a broader outline of my business.
For bark, I will set up a new Instagram business page for VIPHOSTNZ

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I Have a full vaccination cert. I offer free masks to all clients and do a full cleaning and disinfectant covid protocol to vehicles, daily.
with contactless mobile phone payment transactions.
[ I have been fully vaccinated and have had 2 boosters ]

With all of the fuss of catching flights, adding even more to your plate is simply unnecessary. With the right airport taxi, you can make travelling to and from your home to the airport and the airport to your hotel as low-maintenance as possible. Having a car to pick you up can save you plenty of time and alleviate some of the stress that is common when taking a trip abroad.

The convenience of an airport transfer means that you can do away with any time waiting around in a queue for a taxi or carrying luggage to and from terminals. As well as being convenient, private transfers give you the bonus of having patient drivers who are understanding of the pressures that come with travelling. Not only will they wait for you if flights are delayed, but they will help manage your luggage, too.

The safety of your belongings is vital. When visiting a new place, it’s reasonable that you may become anxious due to travelling to an unknown place. Airport transfer drivers are very experienced on the road, using the best routes to make their way around the city often for a set fee, all while making sure your luggage is handled correctly and kept away from any possible threats.

Private transfer drivers also tend to be quite flexible in their approach. For example, you’ll most likely have the option to pick what kind of vehicle best suits your party. One instance of this is business trips - in this circumstance, it’s important that your vehicle has enough space for the entire group. This flexibility also gives you the means to tailor your budget to your choice of transport.

So what should you look for when picking an airport transfer driver? Bark lets you compare professionals and get travel quotes with just a few clicks. Aside from considering reviews, there are questions you may want to ask potential drivers before you make your choice:

  • What types of vehicles are available?

  • Do you operate a 24-hour service?

  • What other additional services are available?

  • What payment methods do you accept?

  • Is there an additional fee for luggage?

Use the above questions (and some of your own) will help you find the perfect driver for your transfer.

Airport transfers can vary very much in price. The amount you pay will depend on how far you have to travel between the airport and your final destination. Some taxi transfers will have agreements with affiliates in certain countries to make sure the price of your trip is cheaper overall.

The cost of your airport taxi will also depend on the type of vehicle you wish to travel in. For example, smaller groups of people may opt for a sedan, whilst a larger group would travel in a minibus. Additional amenities provided with your transfer will also affect the price.
