What do you love most about your job?
My favourite part of the job is meeting people. Every day is different, and I have always enjoyed organising and problem solving.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Macfar is my family business, I've always wanted to work for myself to drive a business forward and grow. Although I've gained a lot of experience in other roles, there is no challenge quite like working in your own company.

I'm passionate about what I do and I pride myself on my reputation. I'll treat a client's property as if it were my own to ensure I get the best return and value for money for my customer.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Property is a hands on service and does require a physical presence at times. However, I am adept at IT systems, allowing our customers to view their statements online, and communication via phone, email, or video call is my preference in the current climate. I provide video tours of properties to allow for non contact viewings and inspections.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We followed the Government guidelines for Covid safety;
Appointing a Covid officer;
Closing the office to the public and facilitating working from home;
Using video tours of properties for viewings and inspections and;
Introducing a customer portal to allow customers to view their account online.
Covid has made us more time efficient, but I do miss the pre Covid personal touches such as a handshake or going for a quick coffee and a chat with my customers.
