I have had recent dealings with Graham Hanlon & Co.
At a personal level Mr. Hanlon is self assured, smug, arrogant and on occasion can also be ignorant.
At a business level Mr. Hanlon is extremely hard to contact; doesn’t answer or return phone calls or emails, is inefficient, and unbelievably slow in dealing with straightforward matters.
It took him over seven months to complete a task he told me took him just over two hours. Why? I have no idea and Mr. Hanlon gave no explanation. Par for his course.
If despite this warning you still decide to engage Hanlon & Co. make sure you get a quote in advance. This will undoubtedly save you from a nasty surprise later.

Dear Mr Hackett You were never a client of this office. You never engaged this office. We never met you nor did you ever attend here. You contacted this office and we advised you our instructions came from the liquidator not you. Perhaps you readily don't understand the difference between you/ a company and a company in liquidation. If this is confusing to you you should ask the liquidator and or your former accountant to explain. Accordingly we never had any obligation to contact you or otherwise to you and we are a loss as to how you could possibly understand that we would. In fact your repeated calls to this office were inappropriate and you were told so. We were instructed by the liquidator of a company to deal with a matter. This involved handling funds which the liquidator was obliged to then comply with money laundering obligations under the Criminal Justice Acts. When those AML/KYC obligations were fulfilled by the liquidator with this office we dealt with the matter within 2 weeks. Not 7 months as you suggest. We are not going to ignore our obligations under the Criminal Justice Acts for you or anyone else. You were never charged anything by this office as the monies we handled were belonging to a Company in liquidation, i.e, the liquidator. The liquidator agreed our reasonable fees which did not cover all the time spent. Accordingly it is not for us to explain anything to you. We received an email from you which suggested we should just receive monies and pay out and we rightfully pointed out we are not a bank. If you have an issue with what was left after your company went into liquidation that is not our concern and you should take it up with the liquidator. I would encourage you to check your facts before placing grossly inaccurate commentary on line about organisations/professionals etc that were NEVER acting for you and which you never instructed. It could land you in all sorts of trouble. More importantly as your company was in liquidation you were not in a position to instruct anyone on anything concerning the liquidation process. We trust you will now revert to the liquidator and clarify the actual facts
