I had the pleasure to worked with MC Anime for the very first time back in 2014 at the T&T Waterfront Nightmarket. Ever since then, I would make sure she was the MC at every Waterfront Nightmarket that I was involved.
I wouldn't replace her with anyone. She knows how to keep the audiences engaged and keeping them in their seat for the next performance. Her skills and professionalism in emceeing is second to none.
If you looking for someone to control your crowds, hype up your crowds and make your event the most memorable one then you will need to hire the BEST EMCEE in town, MC ANIME. I promise it will be one of your best decision you will make for your event.

Anime was everything we wanted in a wedding DJ; entertaining, fantastic at reading the crowd and super organized and collaborative with our MC. She threw a fantastic party, the dance floor was packed all night. She even went above and beyond to capture photos and videos of the day/evening that were so exciting and fun to see on her Instagram account. Anime DJ'd our wedding in August. She is very organized and picks up on all the little details. She kept the crowd engaged by actively promoting our poetry 'kissing' game, and keeping the flow going. She noticed when the dance floor was getting thin, and changed it up as needed. She tried to play most of our extensive song list and checked with us when she wanted to go off plan. She always has a smile on her face, and her fun personality shone throughout the night. I thought it was a nice touch when she let "Take Me Out to The Ball Game" play out before we got introduced at our baseball themed wedding. More...

We are so glad we had Anime as our wedding DJ! She was flexible (able to setup and re-setup due to the indecisive weather), provided great suggestions to add to our wedding entertainment and she was able to improvise seamlessly when things didn't go according to plan (ie. laggy internet). She was great with the crowd and she even made the extra effort and convinced our venue to change the DJ booth location so that she could be more engaged with the audience! I worked with Anime on a sponsored speaking event as part of a professional panel for - Spotlight on Screw Ups, with the NAAAP. I found Anime a delight to work with. She was extremely well prepared in coaching me as a panel presenter for the very personal topic at hand. She provided a solid structured agenda in advance and offered insights to the panel discussion with an eye to the audience needs. During the event, Anime was professional, personable and engaging. She moderated the discussion by allowing the discussion to flow by covering all the key issues which were relevant to the the panelists strengths and the audience needs. We hired Anime for our wedding at the Broadview Hotel and had an amazing experience from the beginning to the end. She helped keep us on track on the day and was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole planning process.

I hired Anime to DJ (and do a bit of MCing!) for a large event in April of this year and she was excellent! I am on the board of directors of a non-profit organization and our largest annual event is a charity gala.
This year, our keynote speaker was Margaret Atwood and we successfully fundraised $45,000.00 for #aftermetoo, a fund to address the increased demand on sexual violence support services across Canada.
A few notes on why Anime was so great to work with:
- Anime was timely and organized with respect to her correspondence with me, her arrival at the venue, and her ability to keep the event moving and on schedule
- Anime came prepared with event notes and was flexible the night of, assisting with microphone work and working with changes to the script during the event
- Anime understood the type and goal of the event (being a fairly corporate environment, with guests ranging in age) and made suggestions on the type of music and how to change the mood of the event
- Anime welcomed song requests and didn’t have any “ego” about her role
- Anime corresponded with the venue directly to determine the appropriate equipment required for the event space (and ultimately negotiated extra equipment with the venue for no extra cost)
- Anime was professional and dressed appropriately for the event
- Perhaps most importantly, Anime was very passionate and excited about music and the event and truly brought her “A game”
We would highly recommend Anime for all types of events and look forward to working with her again in the future!
