I was left in a panic right after Feb 24ths windstorm left a section of my eavestrough hanging. The real problem was that the house is being sold and the home inspection is scheduled for the next day! Rycon Roofing was the first call I made and wow did I get lucky! I explained my situation to Erica and her willingness to help was such a relief! She was able to squeeze me in and the job turned out great! I called Rycon roofing to get a quote on my Roof . I had received a few other decent quotes but once I met Dale and Erica when they came To do the estimate I knew I had the right company. We contacted Rycon roofing from kijij not expecting a call back till Monday. However, in 5 minutes they responded and were on their way. Of course my wife and I were surprised but said absolutely come now. Upon inspection, they told us what we needed, shown by photos of the affected area. Within an hour it was completely repaired. They went to get supplies and did the work showing pictures of the final job. It clearly shows their dedication to satisfy the customer. He produced a detailed quote with no surprises and took the extra time to order the materials for me so I had no trouble picking them up. He also took photos throughout the process and explained what the issues were and how he was going to repair them. I needed a roof repair due to damage from a high wind storm. I called 10 different roofing guys who wouldn't call back/ not show up/ or give ridiculously high quotes. I sent Rycon Roofing an email regarding a leak in my roof. An hour later I received a phone call from Dale.
He said he would squeeze me in this afternoon as it was supposed to rain every day this week.
Dale showed up with another crew member Steve.
They first came inside to see the water spot and looked to see if there were other possibilities (leaking toilet, sink)
They then went on the roof and quickly found signs on water entry.
They worked efficiently and safely and showed me pictures of their completed job.
Hiring a roofer in Hamilton can be challenging. Many companies are fly by night and the larger companies train their new members to work as fast sacrificing quality.

So glad we can finally say we know a great roofer! Having had terrible experiences with others in the past, we happened to meet Steve and Dale working at our neighbours’. I called Rycon Roofing for a quote on a new roof and that's where I met Dale he was vary professional and prepared and told me lots of things about my roof that I had no clue about like how ventilation plays a big roll in how long your roof will last. As soon as he show'd up he realized that that my roof did not have proper ventilation and proceeded to investigate my attic and noticed I had a lack of soffit ventilation and by adding extra baffles and soffit vents would solve this problem. Before calling Rycon Roofing I had called a few other Roofing company's for quotes Dale was the only one who invastigated my atic and put in the time to inshore a long lasting roof. Dale and his crew came to my house ON A SUNDAY (Mother’s Day Sunday no less!) and worked for hours to fix the significant damage to my roof from the last two windstorms. They brought all the materials they needed with them and took away all the broken shingles that had blown into my yard. Had an excellent experience with Dale. After struggling to get roofers to even come look at my leaking roof, Dale had constant communication throughout the quote and job process.
