La Lune Event Venue

My husband and I recently got married at LaLune, on a beautiful June day. We had 70 guests and had been anticipating this events for months and months. Diane and her staff absolutely blew us away; everything ran incredibly smooth. We hired Diane to do the decor for us, which included designing and obtaining table decor, cutlery, plates, glasses, table clothes, linens etc. She did this all for an EXTREMELY reasonable price (I didn't want to spend the time or money on decor) and did THE BEST JOB! The decor was amazing! Not only is Diane easy to work with, she is a problem solver; if you have a question/concern/problem, she will address it and figure it out. It was so great to have someone who basically acted like a wedding planner even though that is not her job. I can't say enough good things about her!The venue itself is incredible; located on a beautiful acreage, it truly showcases Manitoba's beauty. Every single one of our guests mentioned how much they loved the venue. From the outdoor bar/patio, to the rustic dining/reception area to the beautiful outdoor ceremony space.. it blew everyone away. And on top of that; the bridal cottage is absolutely amazing. My friends and I got ready in the cottage and enjoyed relaxing and getting ready; and then once we were ready, it was the perfect place for some mother daughter photos. It's so picturesque and cute! The entire place just radiates love and authenticity. Cannot recommend this place enough; thank you Diane and Lalune for making our special so easy and beautiful. The perfect setting for a magical experience. My son's wedding was a complete success,despite the rain. There was plenty of shelter, when needed. La Lune is a wonderful venue for a wedding! Our daughter and son-in-love were married there a couple of weeks ago and what a great time it was. The ceremony was held inside the venue with a stand-up reception and dance to follow. The owner, Dianne, was so helpful and accommodating. I really appreciated the fact that we did not have to set up/clean up tables and chairs and that she went the extra mile for us in making it a very special day. This venue was everything we could have ever wished for. We visited almost all of the "rustic" venues around Winnipeg, and La Lune stood out by far. Our wedding here was on August 5, 2017 and it was the perfect day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments on it saying how unique it was. The space was so pretty on its own, it took so much of the decor worries off my plate! Diane even offered us to use part of her lanterns as a part of our centerpieces, which were the perfect touch. The outdoor deck and bar were our favorite parts, as all our guests spend the evening dancing under the stars! Diane was so amazing to work with and accommodating to any requests - she was always quick to answer and was able to address any concerns I had throughout the process! I don’t even know where to begin !! Aside from how amazing, accommodating and absolutely hilarious Dianne was, the venue was an absolute DREAM!

My husband and I got married at La Lune last weekend and it was more then we ever could have imagined. Dianne takes such pride in her work and does an amazing job decorating, other then some greenery thrown on the dinner tables I had nothing to decorate, it was all so perfect already!

She was great for everything from suggestions on other wedding vendors when we were at a loss of where to go next while planning, to how to figuring out how much mix to stock the bar with !

We got ready in the AIR CONDITIONED bridal cottage and in result have some beautiful photos of all my lovely bridesmaids and I �
The ceremony site was like one out of a movie ! A beautiful tree line for a background that made for such amazing photos and made all the colours just pop!

An outdoor dance floor.... enough said ... who doesn’t want to dance under the stars! ��
And on top of all that, my guests were amazed that they could go from sitting in lit up trees, to dancing under the stars, to sitting around a bonfire by the bar roasting hot dogs and s’mores �� You really just can’t get much better then that, we love everything about this place and the day/night we had.

My husband and I had our wedding at La Lune on September 30th, 2017. From the first moment we walked onto the grounds back in 2016, we knew that La Lune was where we wanted to tie the knot. We had an absolutely unforgettable night there with our friends and family.I highly recommend this venue to any couple who is searching for a rustic/ romantic and unique outdoor venue

La Lune is a magical place. The venue itself is breathtaking. Diane did such a good job decorating the venue, the bridal salon and the ceremony grounds. You barely need any decor as the entire venue is stunning on its own. However, you can add you own personal touch through center pieces and additional decor. The venue is also quite versatile (indoor/outdoor bar, indoor or outdoor dance floor, fire pit, large area for lawn games) allowing couples to choose the setup that better fits what they envision for their special day. To top this off, the property is gorgeous allowing for great photo opportunities.

Let not forget the cherry on the cake, the owner Diane. From day one, Diane has had my best interest in mind. She recommended many vendors, answered all of my questions in a timely manner and had given me countless ideas and recommendations to ensure that my wedding day went as smoothly as it could. Diane is a great communicator and she works with you to ensure that your vision comes true. Diane was also on the grounds throughout my entire wedding day, ensuring all vendors knew where to setup and making sure things ran smoothly.

We had our wedding at La Lune in August 17, 2018 and it was such an incredible experience. From the day we booked the venue to the day of our wedding (and into the evening), Dianne was incredible to deal with. When I had questions she was very quick to respond, when I needed recommendations she had a list of vendors ready, and when it came to set up she had our tables planned out for us. Not to mention, the venue is already so beautifully decorated, there’s very minimal for a bride to do - which took a HUGE weight off of my shoulders!

Anyone who is contemplating using la Lune as a venue, it should be a STRONG contender in tour decision. I would not have changed a thing about our wedding day and I would do it the same all over again.

Everyone who attended our wedding has been raving about how incredible the venue was, how beautiful the stamped concrete patio was, and how clean the bathrooms and entire venue was kept.

My husband and I had our wedding here this past weekend and we had to share our awesome experience! When we decided to plan our wedding in 6 months I was concerned we wouldn't find a venue that met our criteria. We wanted to have our wedding somewhere outside the city, semi-outdoors, with a rustic and relaxed vibe and La Lune checked all our boxes! As soon as we drove out to the property I knew it was something special and after meeting the owner Dianne we were sold! Her caring nature and attention to our needs was so refreshing and we felt right at home. Leading up to the wedding Dianne was always quick to answer any of my questions (even the silly ones) and she recommended some awesome local vendors who were equally great to work with. The big day came and the venue was a huge hit! I got several compliments from friends and family members saying how much they loved the atmosphere. My only complaint...I wish my wedding day was longer so we could've enjoyed our special day more! I was invited to attend the most beautiful wedding imagineable there.Even though it is quite far out of Winnipeg it was well worth the drive. The location is right in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields and 'prairie'.The barn, barpatio and seperate house for 'MRS' and 'MR' were all very well kept clean and nice.A perfect location for any kind of bigger events with food, drinks and dancing. Big grasland for parking and a golfcart to help elderly or impaired people to reach whatever they need to access on the ground. At night the lack of lightpollution from the city led to the most beautiful starry sky I have seen for a very long time. Don't forget some insectrepellant though. About the only thing really improvable would be something to keep all those awful flies away from the food and have really hot water for the tea. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners.
