Julia is an amazing photographer. She photographed our engagement last year and then did our wedding photos this summer. She has a beautiful photography style and managed to capture all of our special moments (with it not ever feeling intrusive). She made us feel at ease for couples photos and was very organized and efficient during family photos. We were lucky enough to also work with her husband, Jordan, who did a fabulous job as videographer. They are professional, kind, and talented people. For two people who don't particularly like being in front of a camera, she made us feel so comfortable, and she's so easy to get along with. She was up for our strange location suggestions and instantly saw how to get the best shots, even in a cramped record shop and a dimly-lit pub. The photos turned out great. Julia is an absolutely AMAZING photographer! I was worried because I didn’t know if we had to come prepared with poses that we wanted or something, but Julia guided us through the whole process! She dedicated all her attention and energy to the time we had together, and made sure we felt comfortable, and happy! She is super creative in choosing spots to pose us in order to make the most of the scenery and us. She definitely has an artistic eye, and notices things that are out of place or that might look ‘weird’ and ruin the picture (such as a misplaced hand, bad angle, etc.). She also gave us creative freedom in choosing where we wanted to go, or how we wanted to pose. I cannot say enough good things about her! She gave us around 200 photos back from our engagement shoot, all edited, and all stunning, in such a timely manner!
