Olga is extremely professional and knows her work very well. My family is extremely picky when it comes to design, half the time we know exactly what we want and the other half we're lost and need a direction. Olga was one of the few designers who was actually able to meet us half way, provide us with different options of colors, explain her vision and guide us through the basics of how to create comfortable yet stylish home that we would love to come back to. Olga has an amazing eye for detail and a sense of style that will appeal to everyone. We worked with Gta Fine Interiors last year upgrading our main floor and again this year upgrading the grand room and the second floor landing. This was a smooth and stress free experience for us. Olga has a list of trades that she works with; we had beautiful mill work done and installed as well as the trim on our 20 ft high walls. 3 main areas - LR, DR as well as the kitchen was upgraded with beautiful custom-made panels and sheers made by her drapery contact. She did extensive sourcing for us starting from an impressive large chandelier, European-made leather furniture and finishing up with soft accessories. She worked out paint colors for all the areas involved and the mill work.
As with the results in the first phase of our cosmetic renovation, we hear nothing but compliments on our interiors, and inquiries for her phone number. In December of 2016 I was met with the exciting news that my high school girl friend who I hadn’t seen in many years was coming to Toronto with her fiancé for business. Of course it would be perfect to invite them over, but let’s just say…some of the common areas of our house were not presentable at all. Our family room's stained popcorn ceiling had a cut-out hole due to water damage from the year prior and was just nailed in with a piece of drywall, old multi colored walls weren't looking good either, and the fireplace looked like something from the stone age…
My friend referred me to Gta fine interiors' contact who she had used to source an art piece for her office. Olga met with me promptly and agreed that there was work that needed to be done fairly quickly. She was very perceptive and knowledgeable with helping me find my vision for the new and presentable entertainment room. She suggested fixing the ceiling with a nice flat finish. She then took me through a color consultation and predicted the best new shade for the room based on the exposure, the theme of the rest of my home, as well as what is currently trending. I was more than excited to hear about the wallpaper that she had in stock, etc. I was in pleasant shock to see how well she managed to arrange our project even though the timing was very pressured. It was literally like those tv episodes you see on HGTV when one tradesman leaves and another one arrives. My stucco guy was leaving and the painter was at the door at the same time. Olga came around quickly delivering two lovely consoles and accessories. All in all, I was left with a beautiful room with rustic looking wallpaper, new flat ceiling, fresh crisp paint and a tastefully refreshed fireplace which flows beautifully with the rest of the wall. She transformed the room completely. And with her great sourcing skills, reliable contacts and overall passion, the job was finished in 3 days! We had lived in our new house for about 8 months and were enjoying our "white canvas"/the builder's basic finishes. There came a day that we thought it was time to enhance it. Olga was recommended to me as a talented interior decorator by a friend at a furniture store, and I've been working with her since October 2016. We achieved a great deal of upgrades: Our main floor looks amazing and there hasn't been a time when my guests haven't complemented that as well.
Olga brought in the trades she works with and has full trust in them, so we didn't have to worry about their reliability.
We have updated the main floor, (except the great room that is due in July), 20ft high stairwell walls and the second floor landing with beautiful wainscoting which was designed to measure. She also added crown mouldings, for both an aesthetic and practical approach for dropping accent lights behind it. All I have been hearing about these lights is "WOW". She extensively upgraded our powder room by bringing in a new vanity, chandelier and beautiful wallpaper. Olga's project management deserves a special thank-you because in a couple of months we had the majority of the work done and that is usually hard to achieve before the holidays.
It was then time to paint. Olga came up with a theme of 6 colors including upper and lower walls, layered ceiling and accent areas while providing large color samples for me to visualize them better. In February all that was painted by a meticulously instructed painter and turned out beautifully. She then rearranged our existing furniture and sourced 5 new beautiful pieces for us, four large art works, 2 huge, distinctively shaped mirrors, and 3 amazing designer light fixtures - all in all we could not be happier with her findings & services. GTA Fine Interior did phenomenal job for my home staging. The quality of work was unparalleled and unique in nature. Furnitue used for the staging was very high quality which exceeded my expectations. I got my bungalow house renovated prior to sale but I could not imagine the way it was decorated and staged with distinct quality of furniture. It was looking so beautiful that we almost changed our mind and decided not to sale the house. We would not have sold the house if we had not bought another one already. I was looking for a reasonably priced decorator and I was given Olga's contact at one of the Benjamin Moore stores. Her suggestions in regards of our project during our initial meeting were all very valuable and great. We initially were going to just paint my newly bought house, but considering that we had a bit of spare time prior to moving in, and upon doing our due diligence, we agreed on Olga's suggestion to upgrade the second floor while it was free of furnishings. She was able to provide us with the timing it would take to complete the reno and we hired her. She regular works with the same trades and she guaranteed their craftsmanship. It left us stress free with researching them or worry about how the job will be done.
The popcorn ceilings were removed and new flats were done beautifully.
Then the crown mouldings were installed throughout the 2nd floor with a few elements of wainscotting.
We removed the carpet and Olga helped us choose a new laminate and then the rug.
Our style is mostly traditional and she helped us as well with upgrading of some of our furniture.
She choose the paint colors and the wallpaper for an accent wall. Her painter was great and everything was done promptly within a bit over month's time.
She is very persistent and won't let things go loose. She would check the work site regularly to ensure that everything was going according to plan. Her project management was great, communication clear and there was no problems. She takes clients interests as her own. She would clearly indicate which options will keep us on the budget or which will take us over, so we always were on the same page. Her taste and skills are great and making a client happy is always at the top of her list. Her fees are also reasonable. All in all we will be calling her to help us with our main floor later in the year and i would recommend her to anyone.

My experience meeting Olga, my interior designer has been wonderful, helpful and a lot of fun. She was recommended to me and i'm so happy i decided to work with her, it was truly the best decision i made.

She helped me substantially with my main floor, made all the right decisions on a complicated paint color palette, wainscoting, accent lighting, new furniture and decor. My house looks absolutely stunning because of her choices.

What i truly appreciate most about her is how through she is, how much she cares and how efficient she is. Also she's truly a wonderful person and very talented. Her rate is reasonable and she always sources great deals.
