Flexis Fitness is a community of women who believe that fitness isn’t only about looking in-shape, but it’s about being in-shape.
It was founded by Alexis Giurleo, who is a Certified Personal Trainer and Movement Coach with over six years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She has worked with both male and female clients to help them achieve their goals. Each client is unique in their own way, so a one-size-fits-all approach is never taken. Some of her notable experiences include: helping a couple lose 50 pounds and keep it off, training a semi-pro hockey player in exercise and nutrition during his off season, as well as, creating and using Flexis Fitness as a medium to help hundreds of women get and stay in the best shape of their lives through her online programs.
Her knowledge of nutrition comes from a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, where she learned how the body interacts with foods on a cellular level. To add to this foundation of knowledge, she has and continues to immerse herself in courses, books and research studies to further help her clients achieve their goals with less effort.
She frequently competes in road races (10km, half/full-marathons), and triathlons. If you are ever in the Montreal, Canada region, you can find her teaching mobility work at MoveRight Athletics, working with her personal training clients, as well as, teaching Spinning and giving outdoor boot camp sessions on occasion.
Her goal is to help as many people realize that fitness is more than just looking in-shape, it is about being in-shape. Once people make that mental-shift, everything else falls into place.
