He is very informative about the music industry and understands every genre. He is able to read the room accordingly and brought my event to life. I had interviewed 10 different DJ’s in the GTA area and he stood out the most. He took initiative to talk to the manager and sort out speakers and the audio system without my help. He was a fantastic DJ and would recommend him to anyone for any event. I am 21 years old and had a 100+ person formal event, and he made the event space come to life. I recently got married and one of the process was to find a good dj! I first met Brent at my best friends stag and doe, she is Portuguese, when she recommended him there was no doubt that I wanted to contact him! I saw at the stag he not only played music for a certain culture but a very wide variety so people of colour were on their feet, and that was perfect since my wedding had families from Jamaica, Grenada and some locals from Canada. Brent was incredible at our wedding: Even better than I had hoped. So many things went wrong at our wedding and it was Brent and our photographer who held everything together.

The first time I talked to Brent, I instantly knew he was the right choice and I hired him on the spot. He immediately got the vibe I was going for, even though the vibe was different at each stage (during dinner, dancing, etc.).

Brent went above and beyond to make sure we had all of our favourites played, he reassured us that we didn't need to worry about the music because he had it covered and it really helped to lower my stress level as I was the one planning the wedding (one of the brides). He also didn't flinch at the fact that we were gay and was very kind and accepting.

He went above and beyond and purchased over 50 songs for our wedding without charging us anything extra and he killed it! EVERYONE commented on the music. I have a few famous musicians in the family and they were all so touched when he played their music as well.

During the dancing portion, when a vibe that I had requested wasn't working out and people were starting to sit down, he picked up on it immediately and switched gears and quickly had everyone dancing and having fun.

I could not recommend him more for your wedding or really any event - he is a lovely person and is really talented at his craft. My wife and I are even thinking of parties we can throw so that we can hire him again! Highly highly recommend!

I had a birthday party and needed a dj. Lax2the6ix played amazing music and great vibes.

DjLAX2the 6ix has done multiple events for my wife and I. The first event he DJ'd our house warming party back in 2010, he also DJ'd a boat cruise party hosted by my wife and I in the Dominican Republic.
