So glad I contacted Black Sheep Interior Design to review and make alternate suggestions to an IKEA kitchen plan. Maia was able to incorporate a full -sized dishwasher, a better location for the sink and a more functional layout, while taking into account the available IKEA cabinet dimensions and storage options. We loved working with Maia and her team at Black Sheep. She really listened to our priorities and brought us ideas we would never have known we wanted.
We always have people over and she was able to deliver a flexible design that meets our needs for big and small crowds, but still keeps our privacy in personal areas. She put together a great mix of materials and colours that fit our urban-loft style and our budget. We get compliments all the time, especially on the flooring!
In addition to her help with the layout and the décor, we appreciated the project management that she brought to the table. Everyone was always friendly and professional with us and with the trades and no problem that arose was too big for them to tackle. When we hit some unexpected snags in our construction, they helped us to prioritize the key features in our space to keep us on budget.
Maia really took a lot of stress off our plates and kept the project flowing from beginning to end. We’ll definitely be working with Black Sheep again in the future.

I highly recommend Maia and Black Sheep Interior Design. I downsized from a home to a small condo and really felt lost with how to include my furniture, work with some layout challenges given the small space, and what colours to go with. I sought out a one-time consult and am so glad that I worked with Maia. The meeting was worth-while, saving me a lot of stress, in addition to saving me the money and time I would have wasted trying to figure it out on my own.
