Last year, my daughter (then 2.5) did a unicorn session with Amy D Photography and Barnaby. She was incredibly patient with my shy daughter. I truthfully didn't think she was able to get any good photos because my daughter didn't want to cooperate, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the outcomes!! It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Amy. My children have attended two photo shoots that Amy has hosted as well as a wedding at which Amy was the head photographer. During all three events it was apparent that not only is Amy an exceptional photographer, she is also a warm, engaged and charismatic woman. I have had 3 shoots with Amy, and every one has exceeded my expectations. My first was boudoir, which can be somewhat uncomfortable and intimidating but Amy was so amazing at directing me and making the shoot super comfortable and fun! ! I was stunned at the photos.. they were incredibly sexy but natural. Our next shoot was maternity, and Amy was again so incredible at capturing that special and exciting moment in our life. Today we had our third shoot, which was with our beautiful newborn son, and without even seeing the photos I already know how incredible they are going to be. I can’t say enough about Amy D Photography. We have a busy household with three little girls and Amy makes every photo session so easy going and so professional. I was worried about where in the house would be good to take pictures. I was worried about the mess (life!) but Amy immediately put me at ease and the process was awesome.

Whether we meet at a location, or at our own house, Amy always makes the sessions so effortless. The photos are always beautiful.

I have been to 10 plus photographers and never been so impressed in my life. Amy was perfect. She sent me a photo before I even got in my driveway, that is unheard of. She made my oldest daughter feel so special, she was beaming the whole way home asking when we could visit again. I have so many wonderful things to say about Amy. First, she is so incredibly talented and truly has such an artistic eye. Second, she was so patient with my two year old and really took her time getting such beautiful shots even when my daughter wasnt cooperating. Amy was our wedding photographer last Saturday in Muskoka, we were beyond thrilled with her. She was exceptional, from being experienced, professional, genuine and warm. She gave great direction and made us feel very comfortable. Her personality really shines through and honestly that was why we choose her to be our photographer. My husband and I live in Kelowna, BC and flew into Ontario to get married. We had spoke with Amy on the phone several times and texted but never meet in person until the wedding day.
