We reached out to DJ Markoshi last year to meet with him about DJing our wedding, around the same time that we were interviewing a handful of other potential DJs. We were having a hard time finding someone that we felt comfortable working with, and were intentionally keeping the bar pretty high for who we chose to hire. He met with us over zoom and offered a ton of helpful information about himself, his process, and his style, and we immediately felt at ease about hiring him. Over the course of the year he made it really simple to provide music requests for both background music during dinner as well as music after the reception to dance to. All along the way he also provided good guidance about what would make for appropriate music throughout the evening, and taking our custom requests and working them into the setlist. Communication was easy and he was quick to respond via email any time we reached out! The wedding night ended up being wonderful, and Mark's selection of music was perfectly suited to the evening. He checked in with us throughout the night and did a great job getting our small group of guests our on the dance floor. He made sure there was a good mix of music that everyone both older and younger would enjoy, and even those of us who are normally uncomfortable on the dancefloor had a great time! We really appreciated having him as our wedding DJ and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for the same!

We hired Bathurst DJ Services "DJ Transmission" for our wedding and he did not disappoint. John made sure to contact us before the wedding to make sure he had all the right music for our entrance and special dances. This was nice because when you're planning a wedding sometimes the last thing you're thinking about is the music so he was able to help us navigate that and gave suggestions based on other weddings he's DJ'ed. Guests had a great time and he has a great repertoire of music to suit all ages of guests and took requests all night. We did give him a list of songs we love (and a couple we didn't!) which he made sure to incorporate into the dance. He was very professional and we would no doubt hire him again for another event and highly recommend to anyone in the Bathurst area to check him out!
