Set foot in this shop for the first time several days ago looking for a cake for my son's 17th birthday. Quite late in the day so there weren't many cakes left, which I took as a very good sign. Everything looked yummy so I had a hard time deciding and finally bought a fruit cake, vanilla, whipped cream. Well, what can I say? it was absolutely delicious. Beautiful balance between filling and cake layers, fresh fruit, light and overall such a tasty cake. Very impressed, all of our 4 family members. The cake I ordered for my mothers 80th birthday party was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful design, amazing quality. The cake was not only beautifully decorated, but it was light and delicious as well. Highly recommend wow-cakes!

I am not sure about their other cakes, or if this is an issue that has arised before, but, my boyfriend ordered me a black forest cake for my birthday. When he brought it home the cake smelled like cooked food, not sure how to explain it. When we ate it, the whipped cream tasted like fridge, like a mix of fridge onions and other smells that transfer to foods. The "cake" part of the cake was mushy as well. I wouldn't judge them entirely on one cake, but I couldn't eat it and would never order that cake again. More...
