Q&As

I love sharing what I have learned from both my life and my research with clients. There is nothing as powerful as being part of someone's journey of life change, and I wake up everyday thrilled to be a part of that mission.

I have a long history in both non-profit and for-profit social services companies. I always found I thrived in agencies which were bold, innovative and people-centred. Over time, I began to dream about a counselling clinic which exhibited those very same principles. Soon that dream came to fruition, and Whiteboard Counselling was created

Someone told me recently that I take a ‘caring, empathetic, but no BS’ approach to counselling. I love that summary and wear it as a badge of honour. I love taking difficult concepts involving our thoughts, emotions, even our neuropsychology, and making them ultra-practical and ultra-powerful for my clients.

I have provided online and remote counselling for years now with great impact for my clients. I use Zoom for my sessions, providing secure, password-protected access to each client.

We have enhanced cleaning and social distancing measures in place for all in-person visits and ask all clients to self-assess for COVID symptoms before entering the clinic.
