Uta Nagel is the founder and creative director of UTA NAGEL DESIGN established in 2006 in Vancouver. Uta acquired the reputation of creating “WOW” effects for Hotels, Restaurants and Hospitals. Transforming complex and sometimes intangible ideas into visually arresting and multifunctional design solutions.

With a successful career as a restaurateur, Uta realized that her true passion was Interior Design, and she expanded her education with a design degree. Her innovative Art glass pieces for large installations caught the eye of Diamond Schmitt Architects which sought her out for collaborations in Toronto. The same time she was chosen to create innovative wall cladding for hotels in Tokyo and Vancouver. In addition to ongoing commercial projects, Uta is currently at work on two high profile real estate properties launching in 2021 and several innovative residential projects throughout Canada.

Uta has been profiled in multiple marketing books and top publications including the Toronto Star, Dwell, AQ and House and Home.

By joining forces with a strong network of talented freelancers, Uta keeps her fingers on the pulse of the fast-changing world of virtual reality and 3D Designs.
