As a Valedictorian and Health Science student at Vanier College, I’ve had my share of teachers who can’t connect with their students and fail to engage them with the material. For the past 2 years I’ve been tutoring students in math, chemistry, and physics while doing what most teachers fail to do — making students enjoy what they’re learning.

What makes Talon an amazing tutor is his patience and ability to explain concepts in a way that it makes sense. I was struggling with my sec 4 math and science classes and at the beginning of the year I didn’t understand anything. I started working with Talon so I would be well prepared before the midterms and I’m already going from below average grades to getting some of the best in my class. I would recommend anyone struggling to pass their science and math classes to work with Talon, he’s honestly a grade saver! More...

What do you love most about your job?
When the realization hits. Nearly every time a student has been struggling, and I give them the final piece of the puzzle, you can tell it clicked when they say “ohhh.”
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started out by tutoring family friends and realized that it was an opportunity to teach them in a way that I was never taught. I found out that I not only enjoyed tutoring, but had a talent for it too. Since then, I have been introducing brand new topics to students while making a difference in how they learn.
Why should our clients choose you?
When your son or daughter needs clarity on a new subject, you want them to understand it as soon as possible. My personal mission is to do exactly that. With patience, my expertise as a valedictorian, and a genuine passion for teaching, I guarantee your child will make sense of any topic, at any grade.
