This cute bakery cafe is great if you'd like to enjoy a cup of tea or one of the creative drink specials, paired with one of the delicious desserts in their case. It's also good for breakfast or lunch as they have a lot of options to choose from on their menu. We had lunch here and enjoyed it. I ordered a wrap from the summer specials menu, and my husband had the Reuben sandwich. Because we wanted to try a butter tart, we also each ordered one of those too. I'm from the USA. I wanted to surprise a friend that lives in Ingersoll with a cake, for his birthday. I contacted The Olde Bakery Cafe, and explained the situation. I was so pleasantly surprised to get one of the most prompt and courteous responses ever, from Sue. She went above and beyond, assisting me to maneuver through the process of making a request, a reality. Seeing the photo of the cake, and hearing the excitement and joy in my friend's voice, made me feel confident I had made the right choice in bakeries. It also made me envious that I couldn't have a slice of the amazingly decadent looking cake! (It was a chocolate cake, and peanut butter frosting, all dressed up with drizzles, peanut butter pieces, and cups. It honestly looked too good to eat!) A charming cafe in a historical building in the heart of Ingersoll. I've enjoyed some of their baked goods and fine coffee. I try to stop by anytime I'm in Ingersoll. I like that they bake almost all of their cakes and pastries. I also see they use local products like Gunn's Cheese and the Indian paneer cheese. I especially like that this is an independent coffee cafe and bakery that beats a franchise business anytime. There was a mix up with a gift card I received. Sue was very understanding and accommodating. I was able to clear up the issue in the end, but Sue didn't have to honour the mix-up. But she did! Sue is a very respectful woman and handles her business very well. She was pleasant throughout the process. Not only was my experience with the staff good, the food and drinks were great too! I had the salted caramel latte and my husband had the mochaccino. We also bought some turnovers. Let me tell you, I've never had a latte this great! Everything was good though.
