The absolute BEST butter tarts! Light, flakey pastry with thick filling. They do not scrimp on quality, you can taste the butter in the pastry. It is a cute little shop, please support local small businesses and stop in here for the best treats! We also had a beef bourguignon pie that was delicious.

After driving past Tartistry over the years, I finally stopped in to try their tarts. It’s a lovely shop with jazz playing in the background but also instruments set up for live performances. There are Several different types of butter tarts and ones with lemon curd. My faves are pecan so I bought 4 of those and since I love lemon, a couple of those as well. They are gluten free, which brought me there in the first place, and they looked so tempting, I had to take a bite, which lead me to eat the entire tart, sooooo delicious! They all have a thin, flaky crust and both fillings were perfect, tasty pecan and a not too tart lemon, which I love. I was given a loyalty card where if you buy 6 half dozen tarts, the 7th is free. I don’t think it will take me too long before I get that free half dozen as they are just so good. They also make a sugar free tart with monk fruit as the sweetener, I will have to try that as well. We’ll worth the trip to Tartistry, you won’t be disappointed! More...
