I contacted Sue to redesign a better flow to my existing work place. I am looking to expand so that i can have people work with me and with the existing layout I felt it was hopeless to get all the design features that i want for my business. I sat down with Sue and told her that I dream big and that I understand if everything couldn't be done, since i had an awful layout to contend with. We contracted Susan to assist with our plans for our addition and the eventual refinishing of our basement. She offered a couple of options and based on our feedback provided a design we are really looking forward to. She found space in our kitchen for an 11 foot island! I've always wanted an island but didn't think it would work in our space. She and her designs were flexible enough to incorporate our likes and dislikes and our budget. Susan worked on our church project redesigning our church offices and foyer both as interior designer and project manager. My church board, Lead Pastor and I found Susan Rea Interior Design to be incredibly creative, diligent, and professional. Susan has an amazing sense of people's style and creates a design that represents the very best of them. When we began our project, Susan listened to what we did NOT want, zoned in on the few things we thought we DID want, and took that to the next level. The outcome is glamour’s and clean, colorful and elegant. During the process, Susan was able to present us with a few options for each choice we needed to make (from furniture to carpet to paint). Nine times out of ten, we went with one of her well thought out selections. She has a wealth of knowledge about design and furniture and I learned more than I ever thought I could about these fields. She has impeccable taste and an extremely strong sense of what works well together. She's able to pull a room together that is both inviting and aesthetically beautiful. Susan Rea Interior Design completed a design for our kitchen. The design she provided was perfect for our family needs and greatly improved the overall flow of our home! The design provides us with more usable counter space and allows direct access from the kitchen to the dining room. all this was accomplished in a very cost affective manor. I found Susan to be a complete professional who was eager to please. She regularly responded to emails in a timely manner and kept all appointments as scheduled. The drawings provided gave two options for the kitchen/main floor renovation project. She listened to what I wanted and added options that I really appreciated. Susan offered names of contractors that she had worked with that I also eventually hired. Overall the planning process has gone smoothly and I am eagerly anticipating the next phase of the renovation project. It was a pleasure having Susan Rea Interior Design involved in our basement renovation.
This was a lengthy project involving a complete "demo and strip down" remodeling of our existing floor plan. We hired our own trades people, and through word of mouth we were referred to Susan.

Susan was instrumental in helping us from the concept stage to the finished product. She understood our vision and respected our personal style, while offering great suggestions that we would not have otherwise come up with ourselves.

Throughout the project, Susan was extremely professional and very accessible via e-mail to answer our design questions along the way.

We have used Susan Rea Interior Design for 2 personal projects.

The first was a new colour scheme for our kitchen and the second is a complete bathroom renovation currently at the tender phase. The new colour for the kitchen works really well and we are pleased with the results as we get great compliments on the finished product.

The bathroom renovation is a complete gut back to stud walls and involves mechanical, electrical and architectural elements. Suan has been a great resource for product selections as she is well connected to key suppliers. She provides good guidance while not being overpowering and allows us as the client to make the key decisions so we feel we retain ownership of the project. We have completed the arhitectural finishes schedule including floor & wall tiles, vanity top granite and the vanity millwork with an innovative material selection. The bill of materials and drawings are detailed and supportive of the tender process.

She has also provided recommendations for contractors to bid on the project who she has had experience with on projects of a similar nature and who she feels are professsional and reputable. We look forward to getting this project to the award stage shortly. More...

She designed my bathroom layout. Involvement including visiting contractors office, design of bathroom, floor plans, colour selection, material selection and design for cabinetry, component selection (I provided a list of the "must haves" and she suggested the rest; things like lighting, mirrors, hardware,etc.). Contractor said her plans were some of the best/most detailed of which they'd ever worked. This is her second project for my condo; the first was for a living-room and kitchen remodelling. In that project she even designed an area rug to match the colours in my artwork. She is very creative, a pleasure to deal with, and I would highly recommend her to others. More...
