What’s your interior design process?
What can you expect:
Step 1: I begin by meeting you in-person or remotely to discuss your project requirements. I gather all the information to identify the scope of work, timing and budget.
Step 2: Next, I come on-site to measure your house and verify all the necessary information. All plans are then created in the AutoCAD and Revit drafting programs.
Step 3: After that, I will start the planning process and provide you with an initial space plan to continue the discussion and make all necessary changes. Your desired style, colour scheme ideas, and architectural and design features will be reviewed at this point.
Step 4: Once the layout is approved, the City Permit drawings set will be started. During this stage, I will help with the selection and coordination of engineers. The collaboration of a BCIN interior designer and a licensed structural and mechanical engineer is all you need to obtain a permit and complete the renovation.
Step 5: Once the permit drawings are completed and submitted to the City for approval, I can help with the tender/ quotation process by working with contractors to prepare the construction budget and project schedule.
