Gloria was so sweet and amazing to work with! I have been following her makeup and hair Instagram page @siugomuah ever since she was introduced to me by my sister years ago. My wedding consisted of a Chinese ceremony in the morning, and a Western ceremony in the evening. The makeup she did was perfect for both traditions and not to mention that the makeup lasted the duration of the wedding of 12+ hours. In addition, the two hair accessories she provided me went so well with both my dresses. I also love how she keeps a variety of pictures in her portfolio so when it came to decision making on my bridal hair and makeup, it was really easy communicate with her. She gets me! Sometimes it is so difficult to communicate exactly what you want to your stylist but Gloria was the opposite of that. Gloria's team also did make up for all my bridesmaids, they made our "getting ready" morning moments stress free - quite needed for a bride that stresses easily like me :) Thank you for an amazing experience Gloria! Gloria was fantastic! She was professional, but she was easy to talk and communicate with. It felt like she was a friend. She had great artistry and my makeup was lovely . We did not have a trial as I did not have time, but she did a great job translating my vision from what I had told her and by showing her stock photos. She was tentative and patient. It was such a pleasure working with Gloria and her team for my wedding in September 2017. I found Gloria through the Vancouver Wedding Facebook Group and I instantly fell in love with her portfolio and her style. My biggest concern was that I wouldn't look like "me" on my wedding day. Gloria listened to my concerns and tailored everything to me to make sure I felt comfortable. Gloria was also very patient when I couldn't decide between hairstyles and was very understanding and accommodating when I finally sent her a few of my inspiration photos! She did a makeup/hair trial for me, which I also utilized for my engagement shoot in the summer. My 2 bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law were very pleased with their own makeup and hair on the wedding day as well. Gloria has a nice variety of hair accessories to choose from. As our makeup and hairstyle artist, Gloria and her team were super helpful and professional. They arrived on time and everyone loved their touchups (two moms and three bridesmaids). Before the wedding, Gloria offered a make up/hair trial session too, which was really helpful, I get a feel of what it is about! I briefly described what I want, and Gloria was able to complete the look in one try! I didn't even need to change anything! She also has a nice collection of hair accessories. Gloria did an awesome job on makeup and hair for both me, the bride, and the groom. Very professional. Smooth communication with timely response.
