I moved back to Hamilton after being away for 40 years. There were many things to get used to in my new place, including finding personal services. When I needed my hair reshaped after a rather disastrous experience in another salon, I had my first experience at this Aveda salon. I was treated with a lot of care and friendliness. Got my hair cut yesterday for my damaged dry hair. Haven't been to hairdresser for years because I was so embarrassed with my hair condition. The place is clean and nice and I had Samantha. About a month ago I started looking for places in the Hamilton area that offered chemical hair straightening. I noticed a lot of hair salons had different names for the procedure. So, it got a little overwhelming trying to pick the right salon. I then started e-mail a few in the area that seemed like they had what I was looking for. Thankfully, as soon as I e-mailed Silvana's, which was late on a Saturday or Sunday night. I instantly got a reply! A few days later, I went in for a consultation. And in less than a week I had my treatment done. I have very curly/wavy/thick unmanageable hair, while also living a pretty busy lifestyle so I find it tough sometimes to try to make my curls/waves look okay day to day. I always like when my hair is straight but I often don't have time to straighten it with a flat iron as often as I'd like, or if I do straighten it it doesn't stay straight or styled how I'd like, for as long as I'd like.After getting the chemical hair treatment done at Silvana's Hair Salon it makes life SO much easier!!! I can't believe how easily and manageable my hair is now. Hair always looks great! I'm so excited and relieved that I got it done at Silvana's and that it turned out so great!I definitely highly recommend this salon, especially for anyone who is looking at getting this sort of hair treatment done, or even just to get a simple cut!
