Therapist

Services are offer both in-person and remotely to best meet our client's needs. We use a zoom format for our virtual sessions. It's free and easy to download.

Standard screening protocols are used and surfaces and cleaned between sessions. Masking is optional if the client is more comfortable with a mask.

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional - II, and an EMDR Therapist, we are skilled at various techniques to address trauma symptoms. We address PTSD, Acute Stress, Complex-PTSD, Relationship Trauma, trauma among others. We have worked with first responders, single incident trauma, childhood abuse, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, inter-family relationship abuse, to name some of the most common. Symptoms often highjack our nervous system and can leave us feeling out of control, reactive, or constantly on alert. This happens as a result of what happened to us - but it doesn't have to leave us struggling. There is help and relief from the symptoms. You can get your life back and live the life you deserve!

As a Certified Integrative Sex and Couples Therapist and a Gottman Method trained couples therapist, we help you learn the skills and tools to get what you want from your relationship. We all bring our own beliefs, experiences, expectations, and communication styles which may be very different from our partners'. Recognizing how they influence our communication styles, respecting how they influence each other, and contribute to negative patterns is a valuable tool. Learning new skills and strategies for getting our wants and needs met creates safe, stable, and happier relationships. We use both Gottman Method and Imago Therapy in our approaches, both well supported by years of research. Let's help you get back on track!
