• Performs bank reconciliation

• Records on company books manually or through accounting programs such as QuickBooks, Peachtree/ Sage 50, and FreshBooks

• Ensures that company accounts payable contributes positively towards business’s cash flow, minimizing late payment costs and avoiding errors (e.g. penalties, duplicate payments, fraud, etc.)

• Organizes and maintains supplier or vendor information as well as payment terms.

• Handles tracking and timely payment of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and other expenditures.

• Carries out bank reconciliation manually using Excel or through accounting software, including complete monitoring of accounts payable cycle and supplier invoices up to the preparation of payment in preparation for the monthly summarized reports of Account Payable subsidiary and Control Account

• Processes and records transactions, maintains payments and account status records, manages subsidiary accounts, and researches and resolves account discrepancies

• Ensures that company clients are properly billed for services and that correct amounts are collected in a timely manner.

• Prepares monthly reports like Accounts Receivable monthly balance, Aging, and Customer Account monthly balance.

• Carries out invoice preparation manually or through accounting software before forwarding to client for collection

• Examines accuracy of financial statements and adjusts historical books to correct errors

• Reconciles all accounts in Balance Sheets and Income Statements
