I was looking to renovate my bathroom for white some time. I got quotes from multiple contractors. Almost everyone was in the same line in terms of estimate. Chris gave a detailed quote regardless of whether I went forward with him or not. It started with a fortunate phone call to a retired legend who had built many new kitchens for Churches. He strongly recommended Chris and Remodel Construction. Then came the quotation. It covered in detail the process and timing in a superior way to the other quotes received. Price, middle of the road.
The work was organized so well that we knew what would be done every day and could plan accordingly. Engineers, civil and others commented on the quality of work and the skilled management of time. The kitchen was finished a week earlier than predicted.

Chris and his team have renovated our main floor bathroom, the laundry room in the basement and installed a lattice privacy fence in our backyard over the last few years. Recently they installed a new drop ceiling with pot lights in our basement. Chris always provides us with a detailed quote prior to doing the work and gives us an updated quote if we ask for additional work to be done.
Marco, Vince and Dexter Showed up every day at 7:30AM as promised and were very professional and polite. They cleaned up every day and discussed the work they were doing to keep us updated. The work was completed in the 2 weeks that Chris had promised and we are very happy with the finished product.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job on building an attached roof structure over our patio and a custom pool shed. He coordinated with our other landscaping contractor to ensure the job was completed in the most efficient way and protected our existing and newly installed patio. When some issues arose they dealt with them professionally and did what was necessary to ensure we were happy with the result. Some of the support beams needed to be installed through our brick and unfortunately ended up needing to come in through our bathroom cabinet. They removed the cabinets, reinstalled them and in the process broke a kick plate veneer. Chris replaced the kickplate, patched up the holes in the wall and repainted them, so you would never know it happened in the first place. He called us regularly to update us on timelines, address any issues we had and accommodated our changes as we went. I would highly recommend his company and his team. Earlier this year we had water damage in a basement room and had to tear apart the room to discover a crack in the foundation. After getting the foundation crack repaired, I looked for someone to rebuild the basement room and found Chris and Remodel Construction. Chris came over and looked at the issues and gave us a quote to complete the work. Since we were having the room repaired anyhow, we decided to expand the job and also replace the floor and stairs in the main basement area.Chris and his team were great! They showed up on-time and took great care to protect the floors and walls which were not being replaced. In the basement room they cleaned up all the debris, built the walls, put down new floors, and painted the room to match the rest of the basement. In the main area they removed all the carpet and put down new floors, including replacing the carpet on the stairs with hardwood.The team was always professional, great at communicating the work being done, and discussed any changes with us ahead of time (there were only 2 small changes, the original quote was very accurate). We got Chris' name from the plumbing supply store. From the start Chris promptly returned my call and booked an appointment. He visited our house, took measurements, reviewed options for the job and discussed our previous selection of Mr Marble counters/shower, sinks, faucets and other fixtures. Within 24 hours he returned a quote to us. The renovation went just as smooth as Chris orchestrated his team and trades into the house to complete the job. His scheduling is very efficient and well thought out. His team and the trades people he uses are very polite, friendly and efficient. I was amazed at how they covered the floors and other areas to reduce any dirt and how well they cleaned up every day before leaving. Chris was always available and called often just to ask how things were going. We had two issues, a faulty light and an issue with the niche in the shower that Chris promptly addressed without question. Remodel construction came through with flying colours. After having my shower installed more than a year and half ago an issue occurred with the seamless glass shower door. The glass company did everything they could to shift the blame to Remodel construction but it was plainly obvious that the issue was with the 80lb. door not being anchored properly. From the moment Chris arrived to give me a quote I had confidence in his ability to complete my project. My laundry room was just studs and concrete. It was transformed into a room where I want to go to do laundry. Ceilings, walls, floors, partitioning the area off from the furnace with a louvered door to allow for ventilation it was all done by an amazing team (Tim, Dexter, Jason). All my questions were answered as we went through the process and if I wasn't happy with something, they found a solution to my liking.At the same time I had 3 sets of closet doors installed to replace full height sliders. As I searched through Homestars.com looking for someone to install bathroom fans in my home I decided to contact Remodel Construction . I was very pleased with the reception I got from Chris Clarke at this company. He was very pleasant , asked quite a few questions , came out to my home to inspect and give me a quotation. Quote was accepted and a team from Remodel Construction came in and did the installation. The team was very professional, pleasant and caring. Tim and Dexter arrived at my home at 8:00 am as stated in my contract. They proceeded to do the pre work necessary for this job. Paper was placed on the floors and secured with tapes, Non skid plastic was placed on my carpeted stairs, everything was covered. Furniture in adjoining rooms and the bathrooms were protected with all the coverings. I was very comfortable as I watched the set up. My thoughts " This company and its employees do care about the job and about the customers home and belongings " This made me very happy.
Once everything was secured with the necessary coverings , Richard the Electrician and his team Daniel and Zackery showed up. I was impressed once again when I realised the "Team Work " . The work continued and was completed in a timely manner. The team was courteous and respectful and informed me on what they were doing as they performed their master piece from beginning to end. Actually called for quote on kitchen renovation. In investigation, Chris found that there was a main support beam missing in the basement (previous owners had removed. ) As my husband is disabled and in a very heavy wheelchair, we all agreed that this support needed to be put back, before we could consider any renovation.
Chris and his team were very efficient, on time, kept appointments, cleaned up after the job, easy to get a hold of and to correspond with, and is still visiting us monthly to adjust that support until it is corrected. An intake line burst in our main floor powder room several months ago, flooding our entire basement. Trying to work with insurance was painfully slow so eventually we gave up waiting and contacted Chris at Remodel Construction Co to see if they might be able to assist. We’d worked with them previously on a renovation job and were familiar with the quality of their services. Even accounting for their schedule and the short notice, Chris still managed to fit us in and FINISH the job sooner than the insurance contractor was even planning to start.Chris and his team were clean, courteous and effficient. They replaced the entire ceiling and repaired all the holes that had been cut in the drywall, primed, painted and installed a new floor. We brought in Chris and his team to transform our small basement powder room into a full 3pc washroom, as well as moving our W/D and creating a new room/nook for it. Chris was very helpful in the preliminary stage, helping us with figuring out optimal layout and design, including securing and closing all permits. A few things about Chris and his team: polite, timely, clean - and best of all - both transparent and responsive. Our basement suffered a flood from the laundry room on the 2nd floor. Chris came to inspect our house, he was on time, wore the booties over his shoes and was very thorough and took his time to go over the details with us, the estimate was clear and completed in a timely manner. Upon our first meeting Remodel Construction was hired to repair the damages. They were really great to work with, Chris was always available for questions or requests. We were actually living in the home while they gutted one floor, but they made every effort to minimize disruptions and they kept the space very clean and tidy throughout the process. I contacted Chris at Remodel to assess some possible water damage coming into my walk-out basement apartment through the main door. Chris quickly assessed the damage and determined the french door needed to be taken out and water damaged areas replaced and the deck slope corrected. Rotten wood and brick molding was replaced, caulking removed from the bricks and rust treated on the steel intel. The french door was reinstalled complete with new PVC brick holding and exterior door frame painted - twice! Once the door was addressed, Chris adjusted the deck which was sloping toward the house, the main contributing factor of the leak. The deck posts were measured and installed with precision, and slope corrected - away from the house. The level of care and detail Chris and his team demonstrated was really assuring, they were prompt, efficient and made sure the area was thoroughly cleaned when they were done. For (at least!) the third time, my husband and I turned to Chris and his team to help with a renovation project in our home. Once again, we were left thrilled with the results. Chris is a delight to work with, showing up on time when he makes appointments, providing accurate and fair itemized quotes and giving useful, practical advice that accommodates for different budgets. In this case, he and his team stepped in to fix our basement's botched drywall job (note: there are certain things you should always leave up to the pros and drywalling is one of them!), repaired and trimmed six doors in advance of carpet being installed and installed over 100 linear feet of new baseboards.
