I recently visited Rain Spa on August 18th. Â It was a surprise by my friend for my Birthday. Â As soon as I stepped foot into the spa we were greeted and they wished me a Happy Birthday. Â It was so nice of them and really started out the day great. Â Everything from checking in, to bringing us coffee was just seamless. Â Everyone was friendly and knew it was my birthday which made the whole day special. Â We were both booked for massages and mani/pedis. Â Usually when I go for a massage, I'm usually underwhelmed. Â I always feel like just another customer that they are trying to get through and move on to the next. Â Angela, took the time to ask about what I did, where my concerns were. It was the best massage I've ever had, and I've been to super high end spas before and nothing compares to Angela and well the service we received at the Spa. Â Next was out mani/pedis which was done by Leena. Â She was amazing. Â I'm not a normal girl and often find the whole process of painful. Â Leena was gentle and the whole process was relaxing which is a vast difference from all my other experiences were I'm anxious, tense and in pain. Â Overall, my experience was great. I wouldn't recommend eyebrow tinting if you barely have any eyebrows to begin with LOL. My massage and facial were excellent! I will go back indeed!

I've had massages, a facial, eyebrow tint, and eyebrow wax here, and I've been SO happy with all of it. The lady at reception today was incredibly friendly and helpful, and my RMT and aesthetician were wonderful. Love this place!

This is the place I go to get a 60 minute massage. Nothing special but its still clean, friendly and my massage therapist is really great. Â Its a very small cute spa with a cozy feel which I like. Great services.PAINLESS WAXING.Friendly staff.Clean establishment.Brilliant! Yes, it may be in the middle of nowhere by downtown Toronto standards, but I wouldn't travel all the way on a Friday rush hour from the financial district to this spa's Bayview&Shepard location if I didn't have full faith in their services. I spent one hour on the TTC getting here, spent only 15 minutes in the salon for the actual procedure, and then spent another hour on the TTC getting home, and it was still worth it! My only gripe is how they take your credit card no over the phone, as collateral in case you don't show up. That's not acceptable, and warrants a deducted star! More...

I've been to Rain Spa a few times and it has always been a pleasant experience. Â I usually have a massage or body wrap treatment. Â I would recommend it as a decent alternative to other more expensive downtown spas as it is very affordable and just a short trek from downtown. I've gone to this spa a couple times now, once to get a couple's hot stone massage, and the other time for a hot stone massage, manicure and to get my hair done before a night out. Both experiences were AMAZING! The facility is clean and welcoming, and quite relaxing. The people there are really nice and do their best to make you feel good. The massages have been the best I've had ANYWHERE, which is saying a lot because I get them quite often due to a bad back. The manicure was lovely, thorough and lasted FOREVER! My hair looked SO beautiful once the woman was done styling it, I wish I could get her to do it everyday! Though the price is a little steep, it is SO worth it! More...

My wife and I enjoy going to this place to get a couples massage as it is relaxing.  On the few times I have gone, I have asked for the deep tissue massage which is fantastic as it helps work out any kinks or pain from working out that I get.  (When they get to my calves, it takes a lot of energy for me not to scream in pain...haha.)  In the same session, I have found it relaxing enough that I have fallen asleep.  (Everyone seems to get  a chuckle out of having to shake me back to consciousness!)  I know that most people get the 60 minute massage, but I implore you to try the 90.  I find that just as I fully feel relaxed the massage is over!  The 90 minutes moves by very quickly as well.  My wife and I ask for Angela or Renata as they are able to really ensure that your muscles get the proper treatment they deserve!The facility is very clean.  The massage tables are heated and can move up and down.  The massage area is located upstairs where you can have some tea/water and some snacks before or after your massage.  The only reason why I didn't give them the 5 stars was due to the waiting area arrangement.  Once you have changed into your robe (before your massage) you are ushered back into the initial waiting room.  From observing the other people in the room , waiting in the room while wearing the robe leaves some people (especially women) feeling a bit uncomfortable.
