Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We like to define our own design style as timeless, elegant and modern classic, with a touch of organic and European influences. With that said, we have a lot of fun working within our client's favourite design styles. We love pushing boundaries, and mixing styles is often what produces the most beautiful, unique spaces.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to help people solve design problems that make their lives better and more enjoyable. We get an immediate mood boost in aesthetically pleasing spaces, surrounded by things we love. With many people working from home, now it's more important than ever to love where you live and invest in the spaces where you're spending a majority of your time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The owner of New Mode Home purchased her first home back in 2020. Her challenge: getting the elegant, luxury design looks she loved on a tight budget. She figured out the formula came down to knowing where to pinch pennies and where it was important to splurge. She grew up loving design, but as a millennial, she'd never heard of anyone in her circle hiring an interior designer before, and felt the service was typically perceived to be a luxury reserved only for the rich. Millennials can barely afford homes let alone an interior designer... so she set out to change that by offering more affordable, virtual design packages in hopes of making beautiful, luxurious spaces more accessible.

eDesign Package (For Homeowners/Business Owners)
Our fully remote eDesign service is a cost effective solution for those who need the help of a designer to pull their space together, but don’t mind doing their own ordering and installation. This option provides you the opportunity to purchase items at a pace and timeline that work best for you. This package includes: 2D layouts, mood boards, paint selection, and shopping services. Each of these services are also offered individually (à la carte) should that better suit your needs.
Full Service Design Package (For Homeowners/Business Owners)
This package is recommended for someone local to Toronto or Simcoe County (and the surrounding areas), who would prefer to be a little more hands-off in the decorating process. We’ll take the project from concept through to completion, following final approvals. This package includes everything offered in the eDesign package, plus:
requirements gathering (measurements, photos, inventory), purchasing and ordering, full install and styling walkthrough.
Home Staging Package (For Homeowners/Realtors)
When you're selling a home, first impressions count. According to the Real Estate Staging Association, staged homes spend 73% less time on the market than homes that have not been staged. Let us help you sell your property in less time. We’ll offer detailed recommendations about how to prepare your/your client's property for sale and then transform it to hit the market. Services include: virtual staging, in-home consultation (owner occupied or vacant), in-home staging (owner occupied or vacant), digital furniture removal.
Hourly Remote Consulting (For Everyone)
Need design advice? Maybe you need help deciding on furniture arrangement, or picking a paint colour. Let us help you come up with ideas, solve problems and offer a new perspective.
Personal Shopping (For Everyone)

Photoshop My Room™ (For Everyone)
Have you picked out the perfect piece but want to know how it will look in your space before you pull the trigger? Let us help you visualize it by photoshopping the item into a photo of your room.
Virtual Styling for Photo/Video Shoots (For Interior Designers)
We’ll provide styling direction and develop a thoughtfully curated and cohesive design concept that achieves a highly stylized look. The package includes: inspiration/direction pull, mood boards, shopping services (with easy pickup and return options)
On-site Styling and Art Direction for Photo/Video Shoots (For Interior Designers)
As prop stylists, we'll show up on set to assist with styling and placement of props and furnishings, as
well as adding final touches. Leverage our keen eye to ensure items are perfectly placed and clutter is removed for the perfect shot.
As art directors, we’ll suggest a list of talented local photographers, if needed, and leverage our background in
photography to collaborate with the photographer on-site. This will ensure the photos captured are telling the right story for your brand and showcasing the design in the best possible light. Includes media pitching.
