I started my first job at the age of 18, doing manual bookkeeping at a small accounting firm. In 2003, I started a small bookkeeping firm with the purpose of serving small business owners, helping them through all aspects of bookkeeping & accounting so that they can focus on their business.

While working at an accounting firm for short period after graduating from university, I discovered that small business owners need a bookkeeping firm that would provide them with flat rate for handling their work. Fees & salaries were based on the number of hours worked, so their only motivation is to focus on hours rather than efficiency. No one was focused on the needs of small business owners. “That was my light bulb movement.”
