We recently redid our kitchen and worked with Moose basements on the project. They were very helpful and professional and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. My husband and myself were very pleased with the work that Moose basements have done in our home. The installers arrived on time as promised and were also very professional. Moose Basements Toronto finished our basement nine months ago and we love our basement very much. However, two weeks ago we discovered that after taking a shower, water remains on the floor. We sent an email and two days later Alexander came with a worker and they adjusted the shower door. The issue was fixed fast and in professional way. Our main floor required a complete overhaul. Moose team not only provided expert advice on cabinet choice (made in China but assembled locally), fixtures , deign, and flooring but was invaluable to us was expert input from a professional interior designer. Having design continuity throughout the house is imperative from an aesthetic perspective as well as resale. Yes, project cost us an extra 20% from original quote which we budgeted for (like most blogs and experts tell you - set aside 20% of project cost), however the extras provided a WOW factor that cannot be quantified monetarily. To do the work later will cost even more. Moose was there every step of the way from material selection, getting contractor pricing, cleanup, clear communication, attention to detail and above else EXCELLENT service from the owners, project manager, workers and sub contractors. Moose basements is AMAZING! We recently moved to a new house and wanted to have our basement completed before moving in. Not only did Alexandre find a way to get it done in a tight time frame, but he was on budget and provided excellent communication (and even photos!) every step of the way. He was responsive to every one of our inquiries, and fully explained all aspects of the project and detailed quote to us. As we weren’t yet living in the house, we trusted Alexandre and his team to access our property via lock box, and they completed the project beautifully and on time, and left no trace of their contracting mess. My partner and I purchased our first property, a condo, downtown. It was original to ‘86 inside so needed a full gut job, new bathrooms, kitchen, floors lighting etc. We spent a few months getting quotes from different companies and ultimately settled for Moose, though they weren’t the cheapest (they weren’t the most expensive either) but they made us feel attended to and important. We met with Steve and Daniel during the pricing phase. Great sales guys who really know their stuff and made the process easy. They were prompt and detailed with the estimate, and had the patience to price, reprice, meet and talk a lot with us for 6 months before we chose them. We then met Yuri the layout guy who was also super nice and very accommodating. Then the interior designer, Kristin was a godsend! I really want to thank our project manager Alex- who i later found out is a co-owner, and Mark (the other owner) for responding promptly and professionally to questions and concerns. The crews were also polite, on time, worked tirelessly and the quality of the work was great. We’re honestly thrilled at the result! They finished ahead of time and on budget. We expected A good job but this was terrific! Their name says Basements, but everything they touched was perfect.
