I recently had the pleasure of being work on by Michael Fels for an actor's headshot session. At first, you meet an approachable and professional artist with his supplies nicely organized and set, which I greatly appreciate. . We had multiple looks to shoot within a limited time frame and he was able to adjust quickly and execute each mood efficiently. Michael was awesome and I loved what he did with my hair and makeup when I went to see him. I scheduled an appointment with him before getting some professional headshots done, based on my photographer's suggestion. I rarely wear makeup so I was a little bit nervous about how natural I'd look, but Michael took that into account and asked me exactly what I wanted before we started. I have mild rosacea on my cheeks but he covered that up nicely without making me look too cake-y (one of my fears). After he was done, he asked if I wanted him to change anything, which I really appreciated but I didn't need him to! I loved how natural I looked. I want to rave about my experience with Michael and the outstanding job he did with his makeup talent for my family and I . we hired Michael to do 6 faces for the kiss concert this past January. I've worked with Michael on two occasions, but most recently was for my dinner/dance grad makeup in June. The makeup was absolutely stunning, and exactly what I had hoped for - a warm smokey eye with a little bit of classic drama AND it stayed on through the dance and my dry grad party. He also made it so my eyelashes didn't itch which was fantastic! Good prices as well! The atmosphere with Michael was also amazing, and he travelled to me which made my day so much simpler and more relaxed. Will definitely be contacting him again for events in the future!
