The Counseling I provide is movement based. Most sessions are Walk and Talk, meaning that in person, we will talk while also going for a walk. If we are meeting remotely, we would be on a call, and you would be hands free (via bluetooth or earphones) and walking while we talk.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the type of Counseling I practice because it is solution oriented, and the movement aspect of it gives immediate benefits to the health and state of mind of those I work closely with. Stress, anxiety, trauma and searching for meaning and life direction are all very real concerns. The answer is sometimes multi layered and daunting. I love the aspect of Counseling that enables me to help a person see their ability, and together begin taking steps that lead to long lasting change.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have found in my years of working with people, especially those who are more reluctant to communicate feelings, or those who find it difficult to express themselves, that movement will facilitate both a more open dialogue and a better feeling about the act of communicating that is not always present with talk therapy alone.

Walk and Talk Counseling is available both online or in person, through a platform like zoom, or even a regular phone call. First sessions are usually face to face, in person or remote.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The measures set out by the province for covid are still in place as required at the wellness centre when meeting in person, and are less necessary online.
Counselling
My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient individualized counseling. I offer solution oriented therapies for those seeking change and theraputic listening and support during life transition or stress.
I treat individuals and couples. I have a special interest in blended families. I have extensive experience with young adults 15+. My fee is $95/hr.
