I have 10 years experience playing in nightclubs so I guess I kind of like to mix that way whenever possible. I don’t mix like some of these EDM guys where they play a verse, a chorus and out to the the next track, It depends on the song at the moment and what time of night it is also. I like to mix more of the track most of the time and every once in a while there will be a couple of quicker mixes, depending on the energy at the time.

It never fails to amaze me that at almost every party I play, somebody will request something I don’t have even with all the music I do have. My collection of music goes back to the 40’s, I think I even have a few 30’s in there and I stay current as much as I can up to something release yesterday. I love music and when somebody else introduces me to something great, not necessarily new either, that’s what I love about my job. Oh...and making people dance of course.

I have always worked for myself really but it wasn’t until 2014 when I realized I need to make this more of a proper business to be able to support my family and at the same time help people celebrate wherever it is they are celebrating. It’s easy enough helping people celebrate at a club but you can’t truly help people get what they want like at a private party and you certainly can’t make a decent living at it in a club either unless you don’t mind never seeing your family and that would be completely against the whole idea of things.
