What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is to have subjects who feel comfortable in front of the camera- sometimes it can feel a bit awkward, so having a photographer who can help you feel comfortable is key!!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Some questions I try to ask have to do with what type of style or theme you'd like (outdoor/natural, industrial, etc)? What is your budget? And, what is your "why" for this session? For example: it's important to you to get family photos because you want to have more family photos hanging on your walls at home, or wedding photos are important to you because you'd like to have a photo book featuring all your favourite moments from your wedding day for yourself, and also as a gift for your parents.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is using my knowledge and passion of photography to create stories that my clients can hold on to forever!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been interested in photography from a very young age, and would accompany my mom, who is also a photographer, as a second shooter on lots of her sessions. I always loved not just being apart of someone's special day, but seeing their reactions to their photos after! I think it's so important to have pictures of your milestone moments.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because my photography is something that I take pride in; I am always researching and learning so I can be the best photographer I can be! I want to capture your emotions and all the small details in some beautiful images that can be art in your home.

Due to the nature of photography, my services can only be provided in-person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My Covid-safe protocol includes maintaining social distancing (which is thankfully easy enough to do during photo sessions), and wearing a mask. Consults may be done on the phone or through FaceTime rather than in-person.
