Lexicon was hired to design our new home in Caledon. They prepared all drawings and obtained building permit within a month and the construction was completed within agreed time.
We are very happy with their quality of workmanship. They coordinated with us every step of the way for designs and material used in the finishes. The cost over run was very minimal and mostly because of our choices where we upgraded certain areas. Kitchen was one of them.
We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to build a home in GTA.

After due diligence Lexington Renovations was hired to build our dream home in Caledon. The custom home was 1200 sf, three bedrooms, two bath.
basement and two and a half storey. They were engaged to prepare, submit building drawings and obtain building permit in addition to construction of our home. The process took about two months but eventually we had the building permit. The construction too, three months, but the end product was exactly as we had envisioned. We had our occupancy permit without a hitch.
We are happy to have hired Lexington Renovations for our project as they came through with flying colors and within budget. We had no cost over runs which was one of our worst fears having heard horror stories of contractors continuously asking for more money.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
The garage conversion depends upon the use the owner has in mind. If it is simple use as an office then the conversion is less expensive assuming bathroom facility is not required. However if full living space with bathroom is needed than the expenses are much higher, Most municipalities allow garage conversion into living space but a building permit has to be obtained which we can help with.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
The owner has to hire an architectural designer and draw up plans for garage conversion. The plans then have to be submitted to the municipality for approval.
A zoning examiner will assess the garage to determine if all zoning requirements have been met in the plan.
Some of these requirements can include the size and scope of the project. Along with its location in relation to other structures on the property. This is also when the examiner will likely factor in parking requirements on the property and your street.
During this time, the zoning examiner will also outline any special requirements for the property. According to your city’s bylaws. In some cases, aspects can be modified to meet the needs of the builder. If this is the case, an application to the Committee of Adjustment is required.
If a permit is not forthcoming then the owner has to approach committee of adjustment and explain to them why a conversion is needed.
Once the building permit has been issued then the actual construction can start.

Our company has been in business since 1947 (76) years. It was established by two Italian brothers and later acquired by the present owner. Another company 2694732 ONTARIO INC was incorporated to focus on the new construction.
What guarantee does your work come with?
Our standard warranty is two years on material and labor, We do offer extended warranty of five (5) years on material and labor on major construction project.
What do you love most about your job?
We love it when a house is built from ground up and a smile on owner's faces when they see their dream home has taken shape as per their plans. In renovation we like to see a home converted from dated abode to palace they always wanted to live in.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being an Engineer our dream was always to own and operate a construction company. Build houses and see families moving in and living their life in homes that we built.

We have seen it all. Our experience in construction and renovation industry is second to none. When the home were uninsulated to baton, mesh and plaster to fiberglass and polyurethane when the homes became efficient. Electricity we distributed throughout the home with knob and tube.

Not really.. we believe in personal touch and we visit our potential clients in person to understand their requirements first hand. Assess the site conditions and discuss the owner's plans in details. Only then we prepare and submit drawings and quotations.
Yes we do prepare drawings before we are promised a job.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We understand and review latest COVID-19 requirements from the authorities and discuss with the owners before we visit them. Suring construction we take all precautions to safeguard site staff and home owners.
Basement finish
We have extensive experience in basement finish projects. We prepare drawings and obtain building permit from relevant municipality and after completing finishing work we obtain occupancy permit from the same municipality on behalf of the home owner.

Kitchen Replacement and refinishing
We offer kitchen replacement service including complete gut and renew for all cabinets and counter top. We also offer remodeling and retiling service.
For the budget conscious customers we offer refacing and refinishing service at fraction of a cost of replacing all cabinets and counter tops.
Bathroom Renovation
Another compete gut and renew of the bathrooms and powder rooms. We offer conversion of bath tub to stand up shower. These can be glass enclosures or fiberglass prefabricated enclosures.
Usual time for complete work is approximately five days.
Room addition
Lexington Renovations also provides services to add rooms and garage construction to clients in GTA and surrounding areas.
The garage could be freestanding single or double.
These servicers are offered end-to-end meaning we shall prepare drawings, coordinate with respective municipality for building permit, construct as per approved drawings and coordinate inspections till occupancy permit has been granted by the respective municipality.
House extension
We also provide services to extend house on any side approved by the municipality.
